the story began in 1994 Jeff Bezos left (N/Y) New York and he lives in Seattle he was working as former investment banker in Washington he start his first step or his first idea about online books store he started in July 1995 it was crazy idea because in 1995 who was use internet ( imagine you sell something in market that not have traffic ) yes crazy and we all know that in 1995 internet was not unattractive for much people . but it do well ” enough ” for him but as a result of this strong crazy idea man as Tom Alberg invest money in this small project , day after day Amazon idea become bigger and bigger so it changed from only bookstore to a community that people and visitors make books review and they start a new style of this small store so they exchange idea and information

after one year of work online ( actually work time ) Amazon make this surprise ( $15.7 Mil in sales ) this was big for a new idea so you see how it become bigger , in year 1997 Amazon enter stock market by offer £54 million in this new market .

in this year ( 1997 ) Jeff Bezos do this big deal with a person that make Jeff do it himself that it was 1 Mil deal ! so it delivered by the owner , we fast reach 1998 in this year Amazon stop offer only books but they start the current Categories so this was big move from them .. but small company need to grow and growth need money so investors need to put more money into Amazon to make it bigger and bigger so profits didn’t come quite so quickly .

at the end of 1999 Amazon annual sales reach $1.6 billion . but they start a reorganization stage so they fired much workers in them company nearly 150 worker and after that they loss $323 million in the fourth quarter but they actually loss $200 million.

in 2000 they have troubles with them shares , it dropped and they have much troubles that make investors don’t like to buy them stocks

before 2001 ends Amazon scored 5 USD million of profit as first time since long time , till today it still big company and the name of Jeff Bezos still the company spirit and now they have over 40 million customers allover the world
