How to change wordpress Default links to html ( link Structure )

all bloggers want good SEO links and most of them want to get high ranking in search engines so you must change wordpress links to HTML if you look to my blog links you can found it like this, i changed the links of my wordpress blog to html

before i use

the Default link was http://www.smasra.com/?p=xxxx

Default link was not good for SEO so i would be hard to catch visitors from Google or other search engines .

so what make me think that html links are better for SEO ?

i start blogging in free blogger blog ” blogspot” and you know its links are html so i found that my ranking become more high and you know high ranking = more visitors = more earning from ( affiliate, adsense … etc ) so i take this idea and build my blog ( Money Academy ) in HTML links so i got the same results with my blogger blog !

now how to do this ?

there is much ways and much blugins to change the Default link to HTML i use now .. but i know all of beginner want the best and easy way to make it .

so i give you the code and will tell you how to use

first you login into your blog dashboard and you will found the setting tab .

i use the current Version 2.6.2 of wordpress don’t know if it works with others Versions or no but i think yes it work for all

now you see much sub-tabs in setting , you should pike up Permalink you will found the available Permalink Structure into Common settings

you can choose a ready Permalink given for you or you can use a Custom Structure for your blog posts

if you like it as my blog links ( Money Academy ) you can put this code

/%category%/%postname%.html

you can edite it so you can remove /%category% so you can’t see category name into your link just you will see postname.html without category .

thats it .. as you see it is easy but there is much ways .. but this is the best

becareful .. if you don’t have .htaccess file in your main folder ” it should created automatically ” you should make it or ask your hosting to offer it for you
